Jennifer Hamady is an author, performance, and voice coach based in New York City.  A renowned expert on both physiological and psychological vocal expression, Jennifer works in private practice with recording artists, theater professionals, business executives, and television actors to discover and develop their optimal personal, professional, and performance voices.  Her clients include Grammy, CMA, and Emmy, and Tony award-winners, as well as corporate clients across a wide array of industries.

Jennifer's therapeutic insights and coaching and performance experiences (with artists and companies including Stevie Wonder, Christina Aguilera, Patti LaBelle, Smokey Robinson, Jessica Simpson, Cirque du Soleil, Disney, and dozens of American Idol contestants and finalists during seasons 6 and 7) have been captured in her new book, The Art of Singing, heralded by both Back Stage and Variety as a breakthrough in the psychology of both personal and musical performance. She is currently working on her second book, also with publisher Hal Leonard, on the psychology of live performance and studio recording. 

Ms. Hamady has conducted her undergraduate and graduate work in vocal performance and pedagogy, and psychology, respectively, and holds current, professional affiliations with AEA (Actors' Equity Association), AFTRA (American Federation of Television and Radio Artists), ASCAP (American Society of Composers and Performers), NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing), and NYSTA (New York Singing Teacher's Association).
